Otvírka 6. a 7. etáže na lomu Bělkovice

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess the proposed opening of the 6th and 7th bench at the Bělkovice quarry. The thesis describes the basic characteristics of the locality, the geological, hydrological and hydrogeological conditions of the deposit, the current method of extraction and the processing of raw material on the technological line. The main part of the thesis is focused on the proposed opening of the 6th bench. The basic bench parameters, method of access, access road, drainage system and connection to the existing quarry operation are proposed. The thesis also includes a prospective assessment of further extraction towards the 7th bench. The proposed solution is evaluated in terms of operational safety, economical use of reserves, technical implementation and environmental impact. The result of the thesis is a proposed procedure by which continuous extraction at the Bělkovice quarry can be ensured.
