Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the position of CEZ Group in the Czech energy market, whose main domain is the production of electricity. There will also be analyzed prices for electricity consumed by households in the years 1997 - 2010. The aim of this thesis is to demonstrate and evaluate price trends in each year for electricity consumed in households and suggest possible measures to reduce consumption if the consumer can affect the price and any suggestions.
