Návrh optimalizace technologie sušení uranového koncentrátu ve Stráži pod Ralskem

Abstract

The bachelor thesis on the topic "Proposal of optimization of the drying technology of uranium concentrate in Stráž pod Ralskem" deals with the process of drying uranium concentrate at the state enterprise DIAMO, specifically in the branch Mining and Uranium Processing in Stráž pod Ralskem. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to propose optimization of the technology for drying uranium concentrate, focusing on the fluidized drying block and subsequent cyclone separator of solid particles. The introductory part of the bachelor thesis is dedicated to the description of uranium, its use, production, and reserves in the Czech Republic and worldwide. Another section describes the history and current activities of the branch. Subsequently, the technology of uranium concentrate production is described in detail, including individual steps of the drying process, description of individual equipment, and the overall principle of operation of the drying line. Finally, possibilities for optimization of the drying line are presented.
