Abstract
The dissertation explores the use of simulation technologies in selected basic bodies of the Integrated Rescue System. The theoretical section begins with a description of simulation technologies, focusing on relevant terminology, selected technologies, and practical examples of their application. This technical section is followed by the Integrated Rescue System chapter, with a focus on the collaboration and training of its basic bodies. The third pillar of the theoretical framework is the intersection of education and simulation technologies, outlining the pedagogical and psychological aspects of using such technologies in the educational process.
The analytical section of the dissertation first maps the current state of the use of simulation technologies within selected basic bodies of the Integrated Rescue System. After identifying the most commonly used simulation technology across multiple bodies (the XVR Simulation software), its contribution to the educational process is verified. This contribution is demonstrated using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
Following the analysis, the main focus of the dissertation is the creation of a methodology for conducting joint exercises for selected basic bodies of the Integrated Rescue System using simulation technologies. The methodology is designed using a design-oriented approach, specifically the ADDIE model, and consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The developed methodology was tested through the execution of joint exercise involving Integrated Rescue System bodies with simulation technology, and the findings were incorporated back into the methodology. Despite the use of a specific simulation technology, the proposed methodology maintains a general character.
