Abstract

The spread in the rolling is a very important effect, which depends on proper design and calibration cylinder shape of the finished rolled product. It is mostly influenced by the parameters that enter into rolling. In the theoretical part is an analysis of individual factors that influence the spread. In the following sections provide an analysis of patterns of different authors describing the spreading on smooth and calibrated cylinders. The experimental part is concerned with the influence of strain, temperature and type of steel to spread. It was done experimental structural steel S275JR rolling and heat-resistant steel AISI 310 in rolling temperature range 850 to 1200 ° C at a deformation of 20, 30 and 40% and the ratio b / h in the range of 1 to 2.7. The measured values were compared with the distribution calculated by different authors and then calculated the coefficient describing the influence of chemical composition on the spread.
