Podnikatelský plán pro kombinovanou přepravu zásilek

Abstract

The bachelor thesis focuses on the design of a business plan for the RailPost project, which is aimed at combined parcel transport using rail and road transport. The project uses overnight railway transport between Prague and Moravia as the main transport route and subsequent parcel delivery through vans within last-mile distribution. The aim of the thesis is to create a business plan and evaluate the economic feasibility of the project. The thesis includes market analysis, operational design, marketing plan, organizational structure and financial plan including risk analysis. The financial part contains profit and loss statements, cash flow, balance sheet, break-even analysis and sensitivity analysis. The results show that the project may be economically feasible with a sufficient parcel volume, but it is sensitive to demand decreases and cost development.
