Abstract

The thesis' topic is design and realization of educational 3D scanner. Object is scanned by laser sensor which uses 1D triangulation. NI myRIO 1900 platform controls signal collection and its processing. Part of this work is analysis of different types of scanners and it is focused primarily on description of reflective types of scanners. Mechanical construction was designed for scanner realization. It includes two stepper motors, platform myRIO 1900 and linear movement system. Application for scanner control was created in LabVIEW development environment. Completed scanner is independent and portable device.
