Abstract

Švajda, Vojtěch. Apartment house – heating using renewable energy source. Ostrava, 2023. Diploma thesis, VŠB – Technical University Ostrava, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Building Environment and HVAC. The task of this master thesis is the design of heating for a new residential building using a renewable energy source and economic assessment with central heat supply. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part, the construction part, deals with the design documentation for the implementation of the building within the scope of the HVAC needs meeting all the required standards and requirements. The second part, deals with the HVAC and the design of the heating system of the house including hot water heating. The heating of the apartment building is designed as a combination of low-temperature underfloor heating and heating elements. Underfloor heating is used for the living rooms. The basement is tempered to the required temperature by means of radiators. The heat source for heating and hot water is a ground-water heat pump. The work includes a thermal technical assessment of the structures, calculation of heat losses of the building, energy performance certificate of the building and assessment of the apartment for sunlight and daylight.
