Bachelor's thesis supervisor Ing. Václav Veselý. Presented bachelor thesis is about innovation of current CCTV in city district Ostrava – Jih. The aim of this thesis was to evaluate security situation by using suitable methods of analysis and assessment of safety risks, identify critical spots in terms of safety and to design innovative CCTV in city district Ostrava – Jih which will be focused at fighting crime. The theoretical part deals with the relevant legislation, a description of each component of CCTV, a description of city surveillance systems and system of crime prevention. The most important was to conduct security analysis to create two variants of innovative design, including economical evaluation.
