Prověření možnosti propojení nádrží Žermanice a Těrlicko

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to find a solution for connecting Žermanice and Těrlicko dams. The introduction part describes the history of water conduits and explains working procedures on an example of conduit Želivka. Along with this research, the autor also explains benefits of the connection and defines basic design parameter feeder. Next section analyzes geological conditions at the construction site. This is followed by suggestions of linking routes and solutions for the cross-sectional variation stamping NATM and microtunnelling. The work also includes hydraulic conditions and design of geotechnical monitoring. In the final part of the thesis the author presents an evaluation of the project in terms of economy and time.
