Abstract

The work deals with the anatomy of the head and neck, head and neck cancers, their etiology, symptoms, treatment. Introduction to radiotherapy, radiotherapy outlining issues, workplace equipment. Furthermore, the processes that the patient must undergo to his treatment was well planned and irradiation of tumor bearing with the least possible burden on the surrounding organs and the patient. This is connected with computer processing of CT images and statistical data processing, which is used for feedback to physicians. Processing of CT images is very important for drawing the tumor bearing and safety flange, bony structures and the surrounding critical organs.
