Formalizace logických úsudků do PL1

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the translation of selected natural language sentences into first-order predicate logic. The aim of the thesis was to design and implement a tool capable of formalizing a predefined and restricted set of linguistic constructions using explicitly defined rules. The proposed solution is based on syntactic sentence analysis performed by the spaCy library, followed by mapping recognized structures to corresponding first-order logic formulas. The thesis includes a definition of the supported set of formulas, a methodology for creating translation rules, a description of the sentence recognition algorithm, and the implementation of a web application providing access to the designed system. The application enables not only sentence translation into logical form, but also generation of test sentences using reverse rules. Additional administrative tools for easier rule management were also implemented.
