Abstract

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to create a robotic manipulator, which would automate a specified manufacturing process by synchronously controlling and operating multiple individual machines. In its design the decisive requirement is a minimalization of its initial cost, required for practical realisation. Motors, senzors, distribution board and software is added to a mechanical construction, which was already predesigned. The automation is achieved by designing and adding central control unit, redesigning programs of the individual machines and connecting them with a suitable communication interface. User interface software was designed in multiple versions using different programming tools. Finally, for practical purposes, a technical documentation was made for the whole solution, and the sections that are related to the manipulator are included. Designed solution is constructed and tested in operation.
