3D laserové skenovanie budovy CEETe v areáli VŠB - TUO

Abstract

The thesis focuses on the application of 3D laser scanning for the collection and processing of data on the CEETe building, located on the campus of the University of Mining and Technology Ostrava (VŠB-TUO). Each chapter includes both theoretical and practical sections. Two methods were used for data collection: terrestrial laser scanning using LiDAR technology and aerial photogrammetry using a UAV. The thesis provides a detailed description of the instruments and software used. A key step was the integration of data from both methods, resulting in a comprehensive digital representation of the building’s geometric parameters. The thesis addresses challenges related to surface reflectivity, which affected the quality of the measurements, and includes a comparison of the results obtained using different methods. The final output is a detailed point cloud that can be further processed and used to create outputs suitable for 3D printing, such as meshes and 3D models.
