Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to determine a mechanical spark ability to initiate selected combustible dust. There are basic knowledge about dusts and their technical safety characteristics in the theoretical part. The results which are listed in the end of the thesis can be used as a foundation for preventive precautions against the mechanical spark initiation at workplaces, where flammable substance are present.
