Abstract
The main aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to provide the reader a broad idea about unfair competition from the legal and economic perspective. The Thesis is divided into three key parts. In the first part the Thesis is concerned with the development of completion law, current legislative adjustments of unfair competition and its specification in the market competition. Also, it is very important to highlight related concepts and entities, which are being touched by the unfair competition. The obvious goal of the second part is to explain the most frequent methods of unfair competition amongst competitors. In chosen subject matters in unfair-competition offenses, there are also examples which state cases from the decision-making practices of Courts, which confirm its previous explanation. In the crucial third part, causes of unfair competition are described, which lead competitors to use these unfair practices and consequences which result from these actions. Apart from the economic consequences, there are also legal ones such as legal tools for protection against unfair competition, which are explained in this third part. In the last part, there is a summary of nowadays legal adjustment of unfair competition and also proposals for developing them are included. The Bachelor Thesis is available to use for potentially everyone, who feels to be damaged on their right, but who are not sure about the possibilities being offered by the legal system.
