Oběživo a kriminalita v České republice

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the theme Currency and Crime in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to describe and evaluate current legal regulation as it comes to counterfeiting of the currency including proposal of prevention. The thesis contains three parts. Theoretical one, characterizing money itself, its foundation and development. The second part is devoted to legislative frame arranging currency flow and the last chapter describes actions against law by new Criminal Code as well as it includes correlation analysis and proposal of prevention against counterfeiting. Based on the aim being achieved, it can be said that the sentences for counterfeiting are very high. Since 2010, Criminal Code involves protection of electronic money, too. the other conclusion being found is that even those delicts are still being done, prevention is sufficient.
