Abstract

This thesis is focused on literary analysis of the effects of electroslag remelting parameters the purity and structure of the steel. This work is divided into two parts. The introductory section describes the basic principle of electroslag remelting (hereinafter referred to as ESP), construction, distribution type ESP, basic types of slags used in smelting in ESP and the impact of various technologies of heat control in ESP at cleanness of steel. The second follow-up chapter deals with the theoretical analysis of operating experience focused on parameters affecting the purity of stainless steel.
