Abstract
This thesis deal with analysis, calculation and optimization of dielectric field of busbars and isolator space in dual system switchgear. This thesis contains theoretical and practical part.
Theoretical part contains description of the switchgear, as well as descritpion of arrangement of busbar and isolator and description of ambient conditions. Distribution of electric field around busbars and isolator is also part of this thesis.
Practical part contains computer modeling of electric field, field strength calculation and its optimization. Results from practical part of the thesis are then compared with actual iplementation of the switchgear. An Ansys Maxwell software is used for realization of the practical part of the thesis.
