Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the improvement of the management system for monitoring and measuring equipment in a mechanical engineering company. The objective of the thesis is to propose measures to improve the existing management system for monitoring and measuring equipment within a selected organization. The thesis is preceded by a theoretical background on the topic, an introduction to the company, and an analysis of the current state of the management system for monitoring and measuring equipment, which identified weaknesses in the organization, followed by a final evaluation. The outputs of this bachelor’s thesis are based on the identified deficiencies and include proposed improvement measures, along with a sample metrology directive that may serve as a basis for the development of an internal guideline within the selected company.
