Abstract

The diploma’s thesis follows up the financial analysis of the Company, ČD Cargo a.s. Thesis is divided into two main parts, which are: the theoretical parts which deals with the characteristics of the above company and theoretical definition of financial analysis. The characteristic of the company describes the basic data, history, organizational structure and customer service. Theoretical definition of financial analysis is devoted to data sources for the creation of financial analysis, horizontal and vertical analysis, group ratios and, ultimately, Du-point pyramidal decomposition and bonit and bankruptcy models. The practical part contains financial analysis of the company ČD Cargo a.s.
