Abstract

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to analyze the current situation regarding the monitoring of mine gas emissions in the Ostrava-Karviná coal basin, with a focus on the specific area of the Ostrava sub-basin. The thesis also provides a detailed description of this area, which is part of the Ostrava-Karviná basin and is managed by the state-owned company DIAMO, Karviná branch, headquartered in Ostrava-Vítkovice. The following sections present an overview of the current methods for measuring mine gas emissions and describe the technology of the electronic monitoring system used in the region. In the fifth part of the thesis, the potential development of mine gas monitoring technology is analyzed, including prospective innovations and their future applications.
