Abstract

This thesis deals with the methodology of Backdraft effect simulation in Flashover Container. The work is divided into six parts. The first part deals with Backdraft literature search. The second part focuses burning and fire in enclosed space. The third and fourth parts contain a description of Flashover effect and Flashover Container in Hamry. The following part deals with Backdraft effect and its comparison with Flashover effect. The last part includes a list of practicable Backdraft effect simulation approaches, both Physical and Mathematical. In the final part the author suggests an appropriate way of future Backdraft effect simulation in Flashover Container based on literature search.
