Abstract

The subject of this bachelor thesis is a comparison of Permanent cavity of different types of 9 mm Luger projectiles. The document also evaluates the temporary cavity that creates by the projectile. Biological gelatin with properties similar to a 10% ballistic gel was used to create a visible permanent cavity. The temporary cavity was then captured on video. Based on the permanent and temporary cavity, the damage that the projectile can cause. The theoretical part of the work is an introduction to terminal ballistics and wounded ballistics, as well as an analysis of the types of projectiles produced. The practical part examines the individual permanent cavities, temporary cavities, shot in, shot out and deformation of bullets.
