Abstract

The Thesis describes project of maintenance of the rock slope in the area of VranénaVltavou in km stationing 7.508 – 7.753 above the road No. II/102 in the Praha – Západ district. The aim of the Thesis is to ascertain the state of the area, including its geological characteristic and planimetric location. Subsequently is the thesis focused on identification of the methods which would be suitable for securing of the safety of given rock slope, so any possible further loss of unstable rock blocks and consequential endangering of the road traffic would be avoided and/or mitigated to lowest level possible. Consequently will be proposed maintenance of the slope by specific maintenance countermeasure. At the end of the Thesis will be performed financial analysis of the method for given area.
