Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on the fundamental analysis of shares of selected copper mining companies. The first part focuses on the theoretical background and calculation methods related to fundamental analysis. The characteristics of the selected companies refer to the description and specification of each selected copper mining company. This part of the diploma thesis also provides basic information not only about the companies but also about their stock titles. The practical part is based on the theoretical background presented in the first part of the thesis and also on the characteristics presented in the second part of the thesis. Through the application of fundamental analysis, in this part of the thesis, the values used for investment decision-making in selected stock titles will be presented. In the following section, suggestions and recommendations will be given in the framework of model examples, based on the application of fundamental analysis methods. The thesis concludes with a final summary of the analysis carried out.
