Abstract
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to determine a mathematical model to describe mechanical properties of galvanized steel wire in dependence on process parameters of continuous annealing. The only parameter that could be changed was speed of the wire take-up, the annealing time, respectively, which the cold drawn steel wire was annealed on specific annealing line. Performed experiments confirmed that material annealed for longer time gradually lost strength but on the other hand elongation was gained. Furthermore, the possibility of experiments realization at full operation of production line was verified in order to continue with this work in the future.
