Abstract

The aim of this thesis is more about the problem of electrodynamic forces acting on the current track of the circuit breaker, respektive calculate the forces acting in the contact circuit breaker strait for setting the current. Calculation of forces is done on a computer model of the current track, which was created based on the dimensions obtained from a real circuit breaker. Circuit breaker series Modeion type BC 160, was provided by OEZ Letohrad s. r. o. Apart from the theoretical part, containing a general description of circuit breaker, description of that model circuit breaker and lighting of the term electrodynamic forces, work is how to calculate the forces acting in the contact Strait, from the creation of three-dimensional computer model to evaluation of the results calculated by ANSYS Maxwell 16.0.
