Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to assess of suitability of designated soils for construction of road embankment. First, theoretical section presents road embankment and main causes of its instability. Furthermore, in this section are described methods of slope stability analysis by limit equilibrium method. In second part is this method use in parametrical study of stability of road embankment for given soils.
