Abstract

The thesis focuses on effective waste management in a manufacturing company with the aim of optimizing operational costs and ensuring environmental sustainability. The increasing pressure to reduce the ecological footprint and stricter legislative requirements compel companies to seek efficient waste management strategies. An essential aspect is the proper waste collection at the point of origin, which facilitates subsequent processing, recycling, and further utilization. The study analyzes the state of waste management in a specific company before and after the implementation of measures to improve waste management methods. This analysis will include an evaluation of the efficiency of current waste management methods. The collected data will be used to identify weaknesses in the existing system. Based on the analysis results, possible improvements and innovative approaches to waste reduction will be proposed. The thesis will also focus on the environmental benefits of the proposed measures. The findings may serve as a basis for optimizing waste management in other companies.
