Abstract

The subject of this thesis is to describe the conditions in which small and medium businesses operate, identify all the important prerequisites for the establishment of such a company and the theoretical assumptions subsequently applied to the establishment of a fictitious company with limited liability. This thesis will be broken into two major parts, an introduction to business theory followed by the business plan for a fictitious company. The introduction focuses on basic concepts of business, understanding these concepts is essential to understanding the issue. It will also include a section focused on small and medium-sized enterprises and the final portion of the business theory will be devoted to specific legal forms of business. The next section of this thesis is a business plan for a fictitious company, LEON Ltd. The company was created to provide broadcast services, cable and high speed internet in CATV. The following chapter describes the steps that are necessary for the establishment of a limited liability company, including a timetable for these steps. These chapters together with the business plan makes up the practical part of the thesis.
