Ekolabeling

Abstract

This Bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the term "eco-labelling". It explains the meaning of this term and it focuses on the history of eco-labelling in the world as well as in the Czech Republic. The thesis also mentions rules, on which this environmental instrument depends, requirements for producers who want to take part in this programme and advantages offered by this programme. Moreover, the thesis also describes the current situation of eco-labelling in the Czech Republic. One part of this thesis concentrates on the field of organic farming and organic food, including organic products which are closely connected. This part also includes results of a survey aimed at the position of Czech organic production market. Another part of the thesis is devoted to biofuel and the last part summarizes to what extent the set target of this Bachelor thesis was fulfilled.
