Abstract

This dissertation is focused on the Handhold of radionuclides in special situations. The first part contains the theorethical introduction regarding radioactivity and the wide utilisation of ionizing radiation. The practical part focuses on the description of radionuclides capture procedure. Furthermore, the practical part contains measured values from the measurement of rated wattage in four model situations. Model situations simulate the hanhold of radionuclides in special situations. Those are the capture of radionuclides from driving car, radionuclides shielded by different number of cars and radionuclides placed round the corner of a building and in a system of corridors inside of a building. Finally, all measured values are compared and summarized.
