Využití RFID technologií ke zvýšení bezpečnosti odbavení zavazadel na letišti

Abstract

The Bachelor Thesis deals with the possibilities of using Radiofrequency identification RFID in the baggage check-in process at airports. This work includes basic information about RFID technology, analysis of the check-in process at international airports Leos Janacek in Ostrava and Ruzyně in Prague, statistics of baggage loss, financial affordability of carefully chosen components of RFID technology and verification of the functionality in the RFID laboratories. The main goal of this work is the comparison of the current state based on barcode at airports with the replacement by RFID technology. The main criterion is the loss of the checked baggage in the current system and the ability to minimize or liquidate using RFID technology.
