Abstract

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to create and document a gaming system for a hybrid board game that combines physical components and a virtual environment. The thesis begins by exploring the history of board games and studying key gaming mechanics, as well as analyzing existing gaming models. The main part of the thesis focuses on designing the gaming system, based on the concept of an narratively evolving game. The resulting gaming system is intended for hybrid use of physical elements and digital environment, and when combined with contributions from other team members, represents a fully realized game providing players with rich and dynamic gaming experiences.
