Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused on the staff education in the Teplotechna Ostrava, a. s company in order to carry out the educational system for the staff education in the above company, i.e. to describe the starting situation of the staff education, to find out the trends in training hours in job titles workman and TOS (technical/office staff) and in training costs – and to respond to the established facts with a questionnaire survey. Based on the performed analysis the actual state of the company education is evaluated and particular proposals recommended, of which the implementation could be of beneficial effect for the above company. The thesis is divided into two main parts: the theoretic and user-oriented ones. In the theoretic part the theoretic educational approaches in the organisation and the methods of educational analysis are described. In the user-oriented part at first the company itself is characterized, and afterwards both approaches and methods to solve the surveyed problems are elaborated. The following sub-paragraphs are assigned to the analysis itself and the result presentation. First the actual educational system in the selected company is described, afterwards the time line trends of the above data are investigated. In the closing part the data analysis method from the questionnaire survey is applied, including the relation between selected questions in which the technical/office staff expressed their opinion of the set-up educational system. The last paragraph aggregates the analysis results und evaluates the actual state of the education in the company. Based on the positive part reserves the particular steps are recommended. The presented proposals could provide incentive for upgrading of the processes connected with the staff education, and their implementation into practice can increase both company prosperity and work contentment of the employees.
