Možnosti zálohování operačních a informačních středisek Hasičského záchranného sboru České republiky

Abstract

The thesis examines the issue of the Operations and Information Centres of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic in relation to potential limitations of their activities and possible backup solutions. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the level of preparedness of the operations centres for emergencies that may disrupt their functionality, and to evaluate the personnel, technological, and organisational measures that ensure their continuous operation. The thesis also includes a questionnaire survey conducted among the regional Operations and Information Centres and the National Operations Centre of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. The results provide an overview of real practice, personnel preparedness, and methods of dealing with crisis situations at individual workplaces. The analysis shows that the operations centres demonstrate a relatively high level of preparedness for crisis situations. The thesis identifies the strengths of the current system as well as areas requiring further development. Based on the findings, recommendations are proposed that may contribute to increasing the resilience of the operations centres of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic in future crisis situations.
