Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis addresses the issue of preparing and evaluating mining projects, with a focus on the use of international standards and methodologies. Particular emphasis is placed on the JORC and VALMIN standards and their application in the Czech Republic. The thesis also includes an analysis of selected projects, specifically Chvaletice and Cínovec, which illustrate the practical application of these methodologies. The aim of the thesis is to explain the principles of a modern approach to mining projects and their significance for investment decision-making.
