Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to create software for the objective evaluation of retinal background. The key areas which are solved in this work can be considered as the design and implementation of detection and calculation of geometrical parameters of the optic nerve. Furthermore, implementation function for the sum of retinal lesions and the subsequent statistical evaluation in the form of graphs. Great attention was also devote to the implementation function for evaluating the distance of morphological changes in the retina of a function to calculate the curvature of the vessel. The last part focuses on the implementation of visual features for image subtraction outputs a description of the GUI software RETINA_0.6.
