Abstract
This thesis explores quantum teleportation from both theoretical and practical perspectives. It provides a detailed description of the standard quantum teleportation protocol and its generalization to quantum systems of dimension N, where the generalized protocol is formulated within the framework of quantum channels. The thesis also presents implementations of both the standard and generalized teleportation protocols on real quantum hardware using the Qiskit library. The experiments were validated on the 156-qubit IBM Kingston quantum computer and included standard qubit teleportation and a generalized qudit teleportation for a system of dimension 4. Finally, the thesis examines the influence of noise on the experimental results, including the application of the M3 error mitigation technique to reduce measurement errors.
