Rezidenční sprinklerové systémy a jejich přínos pro požární bezpečnost zdravotnických zařízení

Abstract

This master´s thesis analyses the contribution of residential sprinkler systems to increasing fire safety in inpatient wards. The theoretical part summarizes legislative requirements for healthcare facilities and technical parameters of residential sprinklers. The practical part utilizes numerical simulations in FDS software with the PyroSim graphical interface to evaluate eight fire variants, considering the impact of ventilation and the installation of fixed fire-extinguishing systems. The monitored parameters are temperature, visibility, and fractional effective dose. The results demonstrate that residential sprinkler systems effectively prevent flashover and significantly increase safety of evacuated persons.
