Průběh pandemie COVID-19 na VŠB – TU Ostrava

Abstract

MACH, Ondřej. The course of the COVID-19 pandemic at VŠB – TU Ostrava [Master thesis]. Ostrava: VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering, 2022. 150 p. Globally, previous epidemics or pandemics have not had such an impact on human society as the COVID-19 pandemic. The diploma thesis deals with the course of this pandemic at the VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava. The theoretical part pays attention to the disease COVID-19 and documents that address the issue of pandemics. In the analysis of the solution of the pandemic, the analysis of the reaction to the development of the pandemic in the Czech Republic, where government and emergency measures are issued, is carried out. These measures also have an impact on the course of the operation of universities and thus result in the subsequent reaction of universities to the pandemic. In the last part of the thesis, some measures for possible further management of the pandemic crisis in the university premises are proposed.
