Využití modelu tuhnutí pro stanovení vhodné pozice F-EMS u plynule odlévaných ocelových bloků

Abstract

The thesis is focused on determining the appropriate position of the final electromagnetic stirrer on continuous casting equipment. Correct placement of the stirrer can improve the internal quality of continuously cast preforms. The theoretical part is devoted to a general description of continuous casting equipment, including the theory of solidification of preforms and a description of the functioning of individual types of electromagnetic stirrers and their influence on the quality of continuous cast products. The analysis of literary knowledge deals with the issue of finding the correct position for the final stirrer, which is absolutely necessary for the efficient functioning of the stirrer. The experimental part deals with the study of solidification of different grades of steel using a solidification model. At the end, a summary of the obtained results and an assessment of the possibility of using the final stirrer on this continuous casting equipment.
