Abstract

I would like to introduce the reader to the strip mine, the processes going on and to the heavy apparatus used. I will provide define conditions of strip mine a divide the apparatus in accordance to resistance to outside conditions.

I write about electric apparatus and I do not even forget the induction motors which we are using in big numbers with many different outputs. I eve take you through the basic information on distribution network and influence of the starting process on said network.

After explanation of the technical part I begin with the legislation issues. There are the stature books and regulations for the use and service of electric devices, which I concentrate on. I describe basic servicing methods and inspections.

In the end I evaluate if the regulations are in correspondence with common practice, if there is a need to better them in accordance with demands of the real conditions of stripe mine and people working there.
