Abstract
This work deals with lead and its influence on the organism. This work provides information about the chemical and physical properties of lead, the occurrence, production and its use. It refers to its compounds and toxicity. The work is focused on the negative impact of lead on the ecosystem and the human organism and its subsequent intoxication. It gives an overview of how it is possible with lead waste to be treated, remover, recycled, or completely replaces other materials.
