Abstract
The aim of the thesis is to outline the history and development of medical services of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic and to describe the development in the medical equipment, in the way of educating the firefighters and in the organization of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic according to individual regions, based on regulations, laws, other legislation, consultations and questionnaire survey. The first theoretical part details the history of medical services of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. In the second part a questionnaire is used to portray the situation and development in the field of health care in the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. The final part includes an evaluation whether the development in the field of health care in the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic is positive or whether there is something that could be changed.
