The subject of the diploma thesis „Intersection of Roads I/68 and II/648 in Horni Tosanovice“ is to analyze these intersections and then suggest a solution to increase a traffic fluency and safety. The diploma thesis includes a traffic survey, a conflict situations video, traffic intensity and the traffic flows and routes. Next step was the capacity assessments and the results of this diploma thesis are two new layouts, which lead to increase a safety and its assessments and evaluations. In the final part, there are traffic simulations in PTV VISSIM software.
