Abstract

Dangerous wastes are now commonly found in many forms and they are usually side product of many industrial technologies. It is therefore important to pay attention to theirs eliminaton, as they have a very negative impact on the environment and human health. The disposal of hazardous waste must not cause any threat to the environment and human health. Therefore, the new way are searched and developed so that to eliminate all risks associated with dangerous waste.

This work pays attention to the highly radioactive waste from nuclear power station and to the matter of its safe storage. Aim of this work is to introduce the project of an underground repository, that will store the highly radioactive waste produced by nuclear power stations of the Czech Republic. Bachelor thesis contains 36 pages.
