Abstract

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the design and simulation of an ABS system for an experimental vehicle using the MATLAB Simulink environment. The theoretical part discusses the function of ABS and other stabilization systems such as ESP. The practical part includes the creation of a simplified vehicle model, the subsequent design and simulation of the ABS control algorithm, and in the final step, the implementation into the democar vehicle and verification of the functionality of the designed system. The outputs of the thesis include simulations of slip and braking distance for different deceleration values of the vehicle.
