Abstract

This thesis deals with the issue of the use of bills of exchange as security tools. The aim is to analyze all relevant requirements of security bills of exchange, highlight the potential risks and recommend how to avoid these risks, or at least, how to reduce them to a minimum.

This work describes the essence of security bills of exchange, as well as contracts of a security by bill of exchange and points out the possibility of using security blank bills of exchange. The entire chapter is devoted to the relative causal objections, which allows borrowers to defend themselves against excessive use of the security bill of exchange in court proceedings. The conclusion summarizes the advantages and disadvantages, also recommendations for debtors and creditors, who will choose to use security bills of exchange.
